Rose Hookway, East Villavin, Roborough - 01805 603272.  Traditional Devon farmhouse B&B accommodation, around a five minute drive away and highly recommended.  Probably our most used B&B and very reasonably priced - prepare to be well fed!

Rams Head Inn, South Street, Dolton EX19 8QS - 01805 804255, www.ramsheadinn.co.uk.  Local village inn with B&B, bar and restaurant, around a ten minute drive away.

Northcott Barton, Ashreigney, Devon EX18 7PR - 01769 520259, www.northcottbarton.co.uk.  Comfortable self catering farm holiday cottage - just up the lane (despite the address!).  By arrangement with the owners, Sandra and Robert Gay, short stay self catering is available for our artists.

Heavy Horse Centre, Higher Biddacott Farm, Chittlehampton, Umberleigh EX37 9PY - 01769 540222.  Farmhouse B&B on a family run working farm - ideal for horse lovers.  www.heavy-horses.net

Old Parsonage B&B, Court Walk, Winkleigh EX19 8JA - 01837 83772.  Listed thatched house set in two acres of mostly walled gardens.

Commodore Hotel, Marine Parade, Instow EX39 4JN - 01271 860347.  3-star hotel overlooking the Taw and Torridge Estuaries in the charming waterside village of Instow.  www.commodore-instow.co.uk

 Fern Tor Vegetarian and Vegan Guest House, Meshaw, South Molton EX36 4NA - 01769 550339.  Best Vegetarian B&B 2006 - set in twelve acres of grassland along the Little Silver River and convenient for Exmoor and Dartmoor.  www.ferntor.co.uk

Catering

Fiona's Farm Fayre, Higher Punchardon Farm, Winkleigh, Devon - www.fionasfarmshop.co.uk.  Devon farm shop and tearoom offering delicious home baked cakes and pastries.  Enjoy a coffee, treat or light lunch while the aroma of freshly baked cakes wafts temptingly through the shop.  Relax in a friendly atmosphere and watch cows and sheep grazing contentedly.  Fiona's farm shop is a popular location for lunches out when offered as part of our courses.
