 ....to everyone who visited my studio as part of this year's Devon Open Studios.  On the whole, the weather was kind to us, and by all accounts this year's event was a great success, our visitors commenting on the many talented artists exhibiting.   As a result of contacts made during the Open Studios week, I have taken part in a recent exhibition held by Eggesford Studios at Dulverton Town Hall, and I have a number of prints and pictures on display in the Salar Gallery in Hatherleigh.  Do drop in if you have the chance, or visit their websites contactable through my Links page.

Ready for Christmas?

If you have the chance, do come along to the Christmas fete at Filleigh Village Hall (near South Molton, Devon) on 27th November.  You might just find that perfect Christmas gift.  There are usually 20 to 25 stalls with a wide variety of crafts - stained glass, woodwork, pottery, books, cakes, gifts for the garden, Christmas produce etc.   I will have a stall displaying a selection of prints, e-workshop packages and gift vouchers, and I will also be doing a pastel demonstration.   A glass of mulled wine will be served on entry, suppers are available (jacket potatoes and fillings), and you will have a chance to meet Father Christmas in his grotto and tell him what you'd like him to bring you.  The hall is open from 6.00 to 9.00 p.m., and has the added bonus of free parking.  Directions are available at www.filleighvillagehall.org.uk.
