Kay Witt

 Kay Witt is a professional artist specialising in pastel portraits of animals of all kinds, especially wolves. 

Born in Charleston, South Carolina, Kay has been drawing and painting since she was old enough to hold a pencil, and has had extensive experience working in oils, pastels, coloured pencils and watercolours.  In addition to painting people and animals, Kay also paints murals. 

'Sable'

Kay has had a varied career as an illustrator and graphic artist, designing illustrations for book covers, logos and Christmas cards.  She has won numerous awards, and was the subject of an article in the March 2009 issue of Woman's World magazine.  Her work hangs in private collections throughout the United States.

Northern Virginia is home to Kay and her husband and life long love Steve, whom she met and married while attending university.
