"I am 75 years old and started painting when I retired at the age of 68, having been encouraged to "have a go" by my wife after watching an art programme on afternoon television.  I started in watercolours and progressed to acrylics, but was not satisfied with the texture of the fur on the animals I painted.  I saw your advert in 'Paint', and the rest you know - thank you for your help and encouragement".
