As a retired lady of leisure and a complete novice at pastel work, I was surprised and highly delighted with the finished work of my beautiful black pug, "The Duchess".

Under the expert tuition of Vivien I have developed a real love for pastel work, and my love of animals has been greatly enhanced by the close study of form and colour whilst working with pastels.
