"Based in North Nottinghamshire, I have been drawing and painting animals all my life, taking commissions since 1992.  I work mainly in pastels on velour as I find this produces a lovely soft textured appearance. 

"Having always owned lots of pets over the years, I appreciate they each have their own unique personality.  Dogs, cats, horses or chickens, I get great pleasure from capturing their individual characters in my portraits.
